Who we are ?
MerakiDerma was established by university professors and researchers, and has been an excellence in Italian innovation in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic field since 1983.
We are a highly experienced skincare manufacturer, based in north Italy (Lombardy), we are specialized in the field of skincare production for more than 40 years ago.
Our facility has all certifications of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, and 22716 (GMP).
Our applied research laboratories are the core of our company. This is where every day we choose the highest quality to identify and develop revolutionary ideas and transform scientific research into state-of-the-art treatments.

Our Product's Concept
The CYCLOSYSYTEM COMPLEX® is a system for delivery of active principles obtained by the inclusion of an active ingredient (enclosed molecule) into cyclodextrin (host molecule). The active principle is partially or totally encapsulated into the cavity of the host molecule without significantly altering its structure; it is therefore isolated from the external environment and protected from any oxidizing or degrading process that could damage it.
Cyclosystem Complex Benefits
1- It stabilises the active principle therefore protecting it from external agents.
2- Thank to its “controlled delivery” it assures a prolonged bioavailability of the active principle.
3- It makes it possible to create water soluble complexes even with insoluble active ingredients.
4- It minimizes risk of irritation caused by very aggressive actives.
5- It combines the action of the active principle with the cyclodextrin moisturizing effect.
Most of MERAKI products are based on CYCLOSYSYTEM COMPLEX® which is specially developed in our labs to incorporate the active ingredients in the formula to protect them and greatly improve their stability, and deliver them perfectly into the skin with controlled release enhancing their activity.
